Rhythm as a yearling

My newest project!     Copper is a truly
exceptional colt.... broke to ride bareback or
under saddle, bridle optional!   He rides
quietly in a halter and leadrope as well.     We
haven't found anything yet that he is spooky
from~ calm to an extreme.   Safe around
traffic, will ride alone or with others. He does
great on trails, also.

Copper also has been started on several
tricks... he will lie down for you to get on, take
a bow, sit up like a dog, shake hands, and
give a hug.      None of these are *finished*
tricks, they still need a little polishing up, but
at two years old, you have plenty of time to
polish them.

He is a BIG colt.....15.2 hands already.   Plays
well with others.   And yes... he does Foxtrot.

This nice young gelding also has the
disposition everyone wants.. no bad habits,
and simply adores attention from people.

Loves kids as well, and is patient with
them..we discovered Dave's 6 year old
playing a game of climb back and forth from
top of the fence to back of the colt, and
thankfully, Copper standing patiently for this.

very nice natural gait, smooth & easy to ride.

excellent ground manners.

She has both show ring and trail experience,
and stands about 14.3 hands tall.   She will
ride anywhere in the pack on a trail ride, and
is surefooted and agile.

Queenie's Orphan Annie  Reg # 07-91346
Maucho's Mr. Blue Eyes x Joker's Fancy
Lady

Here is a super sweet filly that would be a
wonderful project for someone new to gaited
horses.  She has all the qualities to make a
superb trail horse... level headed, non
reactive, plays well with others, and adores
attention and learning new things.

She is friendly, curious, and oh so well
gaited.  She performs both a foxtrot and
running walk at liberty.

Annie is a rare smoky black, which means
she has one cream gene, and can produce
buckskins.  She is possibly homozygous for
black as well, we have not had her tested.

Nice filly, $1500
Wizard's Smoky Diamond: Reg # 07-91192
Cast Iron Wizard H. x Angels Blue Diamond

This is the 3rd foal I've had of this cross, and
he is very typical of the other two~ friendly,
calm natured, and loves people.

This cross is consistantly producing horses
that stop and think, rather than react and
explode.

Smoky has been handled since birth, and is
trained to lead, tie, crosstie, walk on
hotwalker, stand for a bath, and for the farrier.

Should mature around 14.3 hands, he has a
nice foxtrot with plenty of rhythm and shake.

Full brother to Wizard's Rhythm N Blues,
below.

Cast Iron Wizard H. x Angels Blue Diamond

Super nice young gelding with natural foxtrot,
inquistive (okay, downright snoopy and
sometimes quite aggravating when you're trying to
get something done and he's hovering over your
shoulder)

Sweet, gentle black gelding,  120 days
professional training, show and trail experience.

Let me elaborate a little on what I mean by "trail
experience".... I'm not talking about riding him
around a cornfield once or twice.     I'm talking
about rugged up and down, covered in mud, slide
on your butt down to the bottom type of trail riding.
Creek crossing, gravel sliding, let the horses rest
when you finally get to the top sort of riding.

I've had this little guy in spots where I've had to kick
my legs up near his ears because there was not
room between the boulders for his body AND my
legs.

Was lost on a trail after dark two hours out from
camp, when it was so black I could literally not see
my hand 6 inches in front of my face.   The kid
brought us in safe.

Another memorable ride was when my bridle
broke, and I had to ride 6 miles back to camp with
a halter and leadrope..... and he only had been
ridden outside the arena maybe 5 times.... not a
minutes problem the whole way.

Nice foxtrot, calm colt with a lot of sense, and an
excellent , elegant style and way of going.

That said, he IS still a young horse, with only a
couple summers of riding under his belt, and of
course is still going to make the occasional
mistake... but if you're a serious trail rider, what an
awesome foundation you will have in this young
gelding.    Make him into whatever you want him to
be.

$4000   SOLD, congratulations to Sue Huff
